Our promise
Givvv never sells your data, never shares it with advertisers, and only uses it to run the Service, improve it, and support you.
This Privacy Policy explains what information jmBABE Collective LLC ("Givvv," "we," "us") collects when you use our website, kiosk software, or related services (the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.
This policy applies alongside our Terms of Service.
Who this covers
This policy covers data we collect from:
- Business owners who sign up for Givvv
- Pros whose profiles appear on the Givvv kiosk
- Customers who use a Givvv kiosk to send a tip or buy a gift card
- Website visitors who browse givvv.net
- Affiliates enrolled in the Givvv affiliate program
Data we collect
We collect three categories of data. Here's exactly what's in each:
Account & contact data
When you sign up, we collect information needed to create and manage your account.

Usage data
As you use the Service, we automatically record:
- Transaction records — when a tip or gift card is initiated, the amount, which pro was selected, which business, date and time (Givvv does NOT store payment card or bank account numbers — those are handled by third-party payment apps)
- Kiosk activity — logins, screen views, dashboard actions, reports viewed
- Admin dashboard use — reports downloaded, settings changed, pros added or removed
- Support interactions — questions sent to us and our responses
We need this data to operate the Service. It's how we generate receipts, show you your reports, and fix problems.
Website & device data
When you visit our website or use our apps, we automatically collect:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system and device type
- Pages viewed, referring URLs, time spent on pages
- Approximate geographic location (from IP)
We use tools like Google Analytics to understand which pages visitors find useful and where our website needs improvement.
How we use data
We use the data we collect to:
- Provide the Service: Create your account, run the kiosk, generate receipts, display reports, route tips to pros
- Support you: Respond to questions, troubleshoot issues, help with setup
- Communicate: Send transactional emails (receipts, renewal reminders, account alerts), product updates, and — only with your consent — promotional messages
- Process payments: Collect setup and renewal fees via our payment processor (Stripe)
- Protect the Service: Detect fraud, abuse, or security threats; prevent unauthorized access
- Improve the Service: Understand what features work, which don't, and where to invest
- Comply with law: Meet legal obligations, respond to valid legal requests, enforce our Terms of Service
We will not use your data for purposes materially different from those listed here without your consent.
We never sell your data
Givvv does not sell your personal data to third parties. Period. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not run ads on Givvv.
If this ever changes, we will notify you in advance and give you a clear opt-out.
How long we keep data
We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the Service or meet legal requirements:
- Active accounts: As long as your account is active
- Closed accounts: Up to 60 days after closure, then deleted (except as required by law or for legitimate business records)
- Transaction records: 7 years (typical US business-records retention period)
- Support correspondence: 2 years
- Website analytics data: Per each analytics provider's retention policy (typically 14–26 months for Google Analytics)

How we protect data
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS) for all data moving between your device and our servers
- Encryption at rest for sensitive data stored in our database
- Access controls limiting who at Givvv can view user data
- Regular security reviews of our systems and providers
No system is 100% secure. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Your rights & choices
You have the following rights over your personal data, regardless of where you live:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Portability: Receive your data in a common, machine-readable format
- Opt-out of marketing: Unsubscribe from promotional emails anytime — transactional emails (receipts, renewal notices) will continue
- Withdraw consent: Withdraw previously-given consent where applicable

Children's privacy
Givvv is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
State-specific rights
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including:
- The right to know what personal information we collect about you
- The right to delete your personal information
- The right to correct inaccurate information
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share your data)
- The right to limit use of sensitive personal information
- The right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights
Other states
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights under their respective laws. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at jennifer@givvv.app.
International users
Givvv is operated from the United States, and our servers are located in the U.S. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country.
By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:
- We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top
- For material changes, we'll notify account holders by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect
- Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated policy
