How money moves.
Does Givvv take a cut of tips or gift cards?
No. Pros keep 100% of every tip and gift card. Money flows directly from the customer to the pro through their own payment apps (Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, Zelle). Givvv never touches the funds — we only record the transaction and generate receipts.
Is Givvv a payment processor?
No, and that's the point. Givvv is a coordination and receipt platform. Customers pay pros directly through whatever third-party payment app the pro already uses. This keeps fees low, money fast, and your business outside any payment-processing complexity.
What does Givvv actually charge for?
Two things, both small:
Setup: A one-time payment ($195 Solo, $295 Multi-Pro, or $95 Online for mobile pros) that gets you live and includes year 1 of service.
Renewals: Simple annual renewals starting year 2 — $49/yr for Solo, $99/yr for Multi-Pro businesses + $29/yr per pro, or $49/yr for Online. Pros under a Multi-Pro business are free for year 1.

Are there transaction fees on tips or gift cards?
None from us. Whatever fees apply are the standard fees of the payment app the pro uses — typically zero for personal Venmo/Zelle/CashApp transfers. For business accounts on those apps, fees are between the pro and their app of choice. Givvv has no say and no cut.
Getting started.
What hardware do I need?
Any tablet — iPad, Android, even a Kindle Fire. The Givvv kiosk runs as a web app on any modern browser. No special hardware, no proprietary tablet, no monthly equipment fees.
How long does setup take?
Most venues are live within an afternoon. After payment, you're walked through a self-serve setup wizard — customize your kiosk (15 min), invite your pros via SMS or email, place the tablet on your counter, and you're collecting tips that same day.
Do my pros need to download anything?
No. Pros get an email or text invite, click the link, fill out their profile in their browser, and they're live. Customers also don't need to download anything — the kiosk runs entirely in any browser. Zero app friction on either side.
Can I customize the kiosk for my brand?
Yes. Multi-Pro plans include custom branding — upload your logo, pick brand colors, write your own welcome message. The kiosk takes on your brand, not ours.
Managing your pros.
What if a pro leaves my business?
Just remove them from your admin dashboard. Their profile disappears from the kiosk immediately. Their pro renewal stops at the next anniversary date (or you can cancel it sooner). Adding new pros works the same way — invite, they set up, they're live.
Can pros take their profile with them if they move venues?
Yes. Each pro owns their own profile, their photo, their booking links, and their payment app links. If they move to a new venue running Givvv, the new venue invites them and their profile transfers. Their renewal continues on their original hire-date anniversary.
Who pays the per-pro renewal — the business or the pro?
By default, each pro pays their own $29 renewal — it's their profile, after all. But businesses can opt to cover renewals for their team if they prefer. You can toggle this per-pro in your admin dashboard.
Do customers see all pros, or just the one they came in for?
Customers see your full active roster on the kiosk and pick whoever they want to tip or buy a gift card for. Each pro's profile shows their photo, their title, and any custom services they've set up. It's discovery for newer customers and direct selection for regulars.
For your guests.
Can customers leave tips without downloading an app?
Yes — that's a core design choice. The kiosk runs in any browser. Customers tap the screen, pick a pro, and pay through their phone's existing apps. No downloads, no accounts, no friction.
Do customers get a receipt?
Yes. After every transaction, customers can enter their email or phone number and we send them a clean digital receipt with the amount, the pro, and the venue. Pros also get a notification of the tip or gift card so there's no confusion.
How do gift cards work?
Customers pick a pro, pick an amount (or a custom amount), pay through that pro's payment app, and we generate a digital gift card with a unique reference number. The recipient gets it by email or text. When they redeem at the venue, the pro marks it used in their dashboard. Simple and traceable.
The fine print.
What's the refund policy?
7-day refund window on the setup fee, provided the kiosk hasn't been used to process more than 10 transactions. After that, all sales are final. Annual renewals are non-refundable. Full details in our Terms of Service.
What happens if I miss a renewal payment?
Your kiosk is suspended immediately on a failed renewal. We don't offer a grace period. To restore service, complete the outstanding payment. After 60 days of suspension, your data may be permanently deleted.
Does Givvv work for businesses outside salons and spas?
Absolutely — we're built for any brick-and-mortar venue with independent pros. Auto shops, pet groomers, hotels, coworking spaces, food halls, wellness studios. If your customers love a specific person on your team, Givvv works.
How does Givvv handle my customers' privacy?
We never sell your data. Ever. We don't share with advertisers. We use your data only to operate the Service, support you, and improve it. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

Givvv is built and run by jmBABE Collective LLC, a Florida-registered company founded by Jennifer Richardson. We operate from Naples, FL. Real people, small team, fast email replies.
